The Harry Potter Series

Author: J. K. Rowling

Regardless of your opinion of J. K. Rowling the person, she is undeniably a fabulous author. If you are somehow unfamiliar with the Harry Potter series, or if you are but haven’t read the books, I would strongly encourage you to do so. The books offer a far more in-depth look at the magical world of Hogwarts than the movies, and are books you are sure to read time and time again.

The Hobbit

Author: J. R. R. Tolkien

Possibly one of the most famous fiction books of all time, The Hobbit is a classic. This book follows the adventures of Bilbo Baggins through the magical world of Middle Earth. It is exciting, heart warming and frightening all in one book. No words could do it justice, so please make sure you read this one.
